a Student Short Course (Radio)
The National Association of Black Journalists
(NABJ) and Heineken, USA have teamed up to search for eight student
broadcast journalists to serve as on-air radio reporters for the
Heineken House Party in Jamaica.
Students selected for the program will cover various aspects associated
the event. Eight student journalists will be selected for this program.
All travel and accommodations will be covered. Winners will be notified
via phone or e-mail by NABJ.
BENEFITS
• Paid travel, lodging, meals, and registration
to the House Party
• Students will travel to Jamaica to
serve as official on-air reporters at the event for selected radio
stations
• Students receive news training from
mentor professionals of NABJ
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college
or university
• Must be 21 years of age or older by July 28, 2003 to apply.
Selected students will be required to provide verifiable proof of
age (send a copy of your current drivers license)
• Must be a national student member of NABJ. If you are not
a current student member, go to www.nabj.org. You must submit a membership
application with the Short Course application (Credit Card only).
• All participants need a valid passport
