Elections

Instructions

Full members may vote by mail or electronic ballot, or on-site at the UNITY 2004 Convention and Expo in Washington.

Mail and electronic voting will be conducted June 15-July 15.

Mail-in ballots must be requested from the national office by June 15, and must be postmarked by July 15 and received at the national office by July 22 to be included in the official tally.

On-site voting will occur on Friday, Aug. 6, at the Washington Convention Center as part of the UNITY 2004 convention.

If you are voting online, you will need your membership ID number and password. Your membership ID number is located on your membership card. If you cannot locate it, you may contact the NABJ office at (301) 445-7100.

June 15 is the deadline for a potential voter to be a full member, either by joining or renewing. That's also the pre-registration deadline for the UNITY 2004: Journalists of Color Convention and Expo in Washington.

Again, full membership applications and renewals must be received at the NABJ national office by June 15 in order to be voting-eligible.

No memberships received between June 16 and the convention will be voting-eligible at the convention.
